Pro Tips

Ne invites, yo informs ね seeks agreement ('nice weather, isn't it?') while よ tells something new ('watch out!'). Using yo when the listener already knows sounds condescending. Ne keeps the conversation warm and inclusive.
Gender in particles is flexible While わ and かしら are 'feminine' and ぜ and ぞ are 'masculine,' modern Japanese speakers mix them. A woman might use だ in casual speech, and some men soften with ね. Anime exaggerates these distinctions.
Tone changes everything の with rising tone is a question, with falling tone is an explanation. か at the end sounds formal, but dropping it and just raising your voice sounds natural and friendly.
Jan is Tokyo young-speak じゃん comes from じゃないか and is very casual Tokyo dialect. It's like saying 'right?' or 'isn't it?' among friends. Using it with strangers or elders would sound too familiar.
Tteba is frustrated repetition When someone isn't listening, add ってば to show frustration: 'やめてってば!' (I SAID stop it!). It's Naruto's signature verbal tic (だってばよ) and instantly sounds childishly insistent.
